Creating a more collaborative construction industry

Call it what you will, building partnerships, collaborative working or helping each other, the industry relies on strong connections to get things done. Although this is very true from a physical construction perspective, this isn't what this is about as there are much better organisations that help with this kinda stuff.

THIS IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT!

We are building a network (not in an ugly - enter a room, don't make eye contact, head for the coffee station and hopefully no one will try and 'chat to you' type of way) of individuals and organisations that genuinely want to build a collaborative industry by getting involved in each others (off-site) projects.

This isn’t about tendering, contracting or sub-contracting. It’s all about collectively using your expertise to help others and, in turn, help the industry.

Aside from all the damn good marketing services clients are benefiting from, we are passionate about the construction industry right now and way into the future.

Change is inevitable and should be embraced, but change can be difficult to achieve as we all like a bit of security around what the future holds. But there have been more changes within the construction industry than you may think (and none of them happened overnight. It usually takes time and a systematic shift before a change becomes mainstream):

With this in mind, buildDifferent are developing a database of individuals that want to support the organisations, associations and individuals to help:

We’ll be in touch when an opportunity to collaborate comes along. On average, this takes around 1-2 months so if the phone isn't ringing off the hook there’s no need to panic.
